Clean Technology Innovation in Air Filtration

The only air filter monitor that operates accurately in both constant and variable air flows

Frequently asked questions regarding the Filtrometer™.

3200 SERIES

1. How is the Filtrometer™ Installed?

The transverse sampling tubes are placed downstream from the filter bank as well as sensors across the filter bank. A screwdriver and drill are all that is required.

2. Is the Filtrometer™ a pressure gauge using differential pressure?

The Filtrometer™ is not a differential pressure gauge but a microprocessor-based technology measuring both pressure and velocity signals conditioned through a microprocessor.

3. Can the Filtrometer™ be connected to a Building Management System?

Yes, the unit provides both a dry contact relay as well as analog output, compatible with 24 volts systems. The analog outputs are capable of measuring velocity at the filter bank.

4. What types of filters can the Filtrometer™ monitor?

Any particulate air filter where the airflow can be measured.

5. How accurate is the Filtrometer™?

The unit is capable of accurately measuring a dirty/impeded filter condition over a range of 300 fpm to 1000fpm.

6. How far from the AHU can the control unit be placed?

The distance from the control unit should be placed within 10-ft of the sampling sensors. The dry contact-relay has the ability to remote the signal to a central data- gathering panel.
